Why keep perpetuating a myth on this board that has been debunked numerous times? If you have a cash account, you do not need any GTC order as your shares are locked up with a cash account. If you have a margin account you will need to fill out some type of form that does not allow your shares to be borrowed for shorting purposes.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
