I will say a few things to help you with your point:

I have more confidence in Anavex and the good Dr than I have ever had about any stock. I sleep at night dreaming about what Indication A2-73 might help next! I am not worried about dilution as I will let the good Dr worry about funding Phase 3 for Rett SYndrome and Alzheimers and Depression and Anxiety and Insomnia and..well you get the Pic.
I do worry about the wellness of the patients, both for them and their families and for safety/efficacy. In my dreams, I see holding Alzheimers at Bay and running out the clock..I think now Anavex will probably need some help, maybe Taurx maybe something else..who knows. Maybe Not though..
I would love to see INTERIM Data on the Magnificent 7 at 52 WEEKS..If you know what I mean..I don't think I will be as blindly positive on the A2-73 potetnial results..but it's hard.
As far as my Valuation, Predictions, Estimations, Precognifications, Determinations and Prognofifications..If you don't enjoy them for what they are, than you should simply not read my posts.
Wat are they? A positively tinged, lifelong Devoted (trying to avoid Demoted) Christian's optimist renderings of foretelling the unknown. I don't know why I feel serenity and joy as an owner of Anavex, but I do.
It would be unfair to expect you to have read such an outpouring without giving some semblance of a direct answer, for I am neither a Progressive nor a Democrat,so..
The $500,000,000 is a combination valuation of Comparative Research Costs to have a Drug ANY DRUG ready for a Phase 3..Much Less a Phase 3 with over a $10 BILLION annual market..Our current Valuation is a JOKE.
It's like stealing. SOrry, but that is TRUTH to me.
Regarding appropriate actions to try and take advantage of said Valuation:

Some KEYS I use to determine Stock Cred:
1: CEO is he a greedy , lying tool? NO..Good Guy, Intelligent. BAM!
2. Are insiders buying , or selling? ONLY BUYING that we know.
3. Immediate and ongoing Prospects of Positive Developments: VERY HIGH
4. Calculating Biggest Risk: Failure of A2-73 Safety and immediate results on companiy's future. Have other drugs , but would result in dilution and lower valuation. Can you survive that?
5. Calculating Financial Needs- Dilution and Success..Here we have a KNOWN need of tens of Millions of Dollars for Phase 3..and only $12 Million in Bank. So ..Somewhere something has to give to accomplish a Phase 3..Right? You don't know what you don't know..
Also..A pHase 3 is going to generate so MUCH excitement that ANY Dilution is going to quickly recovered by the POSSIBLITY that MOnothereapy of A2-73 may be the key to Alzheimer SOC..
See I didn't even say Reversal or Curative..I am so proud of myself!
