Part 2 Senate Staff Meeting 7/29/16 Details
I then launched into the nature of the key logger threat and an explanation of how, without encryption potential adversaries would be able to read all those Army I-Phone e-mails leading to an OPSEC problem. In all fairness I mentioned the several vendors of encryption & key logger protection. However, I said I personally was only intimately familiar with the one I use, Mobile Trust. Yes, I did state that IMHO it's the best and (most importantly) the IP is protected by 3 US patents which were/are being infringed and were/are being defended in court. Yes, I mentioned the MSFT settlement. I then produced my package of Mobile Trust. The senior ordered the junior to photocopy all print of the box. I took out the installation/activation sheet explaining how simple it was and extolled the virtues of Strike Force's customer service. Hands were shaken and I was assured my statements (written down) the photo copied material and the intern's internet articles would be packaged and sent to my Senator in Washington DC. I was also told emphatically that they could promise nothing but understood my concern for the troops.
Please be aware my Senator is a senior Republican member of the Armed Services Committee. Also, her dad was a decorated WW2 combat vet. Next week I will try to arrange a meeting with my other Senator who sits on the Senate select subcommittee for intelligence (great IMHO since this is a COMSEC issue!) Wish me luck and please strongly consider contacting then visiting your 2 US Senator's offices. Thanks!
