As I reflect on the meaning of the original post and the follow ups including my own, perhaps I misinterpreted the meaning in the posted response? Did it mean that LQMT would bring us world peace also? Or did it mean?? I dunno.

My math is fuzzy this morning. Sorry. Anyway.....

You know what tho? It redirected my thinking. And is it possible? I mean, in my view, and perhaps I am biased because it was an "original" idea from yours truly. I think. A simple idea amongst so many wonderful ideas of how Liquidmetal may become part of so many world changing products. And be as cheap as plastic or however it has been opined to produce. Or almost I don't remember exactly. But couldn't we also consider making a dynamic statement by making some clackers from Liquidmetal? How better than that to market the "bouncy" affect the material has.

I mean afterall, am I correct that the PGA banned golf clubs made from Liquidmetal because it drove the ball too far, too hard, or something like that? Or was it because they might shatter and put someone's eye out? I don't know. I think it was te former and the latter isn't funny so. Just disregard that. I mean that people(unfair to use Liquidmetsl Golf Clubs because it drives the ball too far, not the other, might be GREAT publicity! Or huge. Imagine a WORLD WIDE COMMERCIAL DURING THE SUPER BOWL OF HOW LIQUDMETAL GOLF CLUBS WERE BANNED FOR DRIVING THE GOLF BALL TOO FAR IN PGA TOURNAMENTS! I don't remember exactly tho that it was banned from the PGA so, please verify before taking this opinion into consideration. But if I am right. That's "huge"(10kw). smile oh. Just unban the Liquidmetal golf clubs and let everyone choose whether or not to use them. That would be fair. I mean, why deny the few, because the others don't want the competition in the golf club space? I don't know.

Anyway. Nevermind. Just my opinion. WELL. Let's expand on it just for fun on a Saturday since the markets are closed anyway.

And another crazy ramble. I think this Li dude might just be eccentric enough to make my Liquidmetal clackers idea come true. Based on like only next to nothing DD of the guy so maybe I am just biased by hope and my love of the Liquidmetal clackers dream. I dunno. But.... This is how it could possibly be done. And be like the most dynamic demonstration EVER! LIQUIDMETAL WORLD WIDE PUBLICITY!

So. You make the clacker balls with the outer membrane of the shell from Liquidmetal. Testing should be done to see at what thickness would give the Liquidmetal clacker ball idea the most "bouncy" oomph effect. Taking into consideration that the inerds of the clacker ball, would be made from "phenolic resin" (plastic) like pool balls, and how that might affect the bouncy oomph of the clacker ballistic of the Liquidmetal outer membrane. Sounds so "Insane in the Membrane". <Google it and click on the videos tab>, Only because to my knowledge making the entire ball from Liquidmetal is not yet possible, since yet, it doesn't seem that you can cool a larger mass like that fast enough to maintain the properties of amorphous alloy. Tho who knows. Maybe those mad scientists at LQMT have been working on that and all that we can imagine is actually possible, they just haven't shared it yet because it's top secret. Oh lawd. I feel like a mushroom. Blissful ignorance tho... There is no better way to hope except through imagination right? Anyway back on topic which is. Clackers made from Liquidmetal.

Also consider that the clackers string be made from a braided kind of metal. Think like the fishing line that is actually that. A braided metal line. But, couldn't the strands of the braided line be made from the Liquidmetal brand of amorphous alloy. Makes sense in my imagination! And what a demonstration that would be huh. Clothing thread that would never break and is so thin you may not even be able to see it. My eye sight ain't so good so maybe that just applies to me but, made from Liquidmetal! It's possible in my imagination anyway.

So, you have a set of clackers, the ball made from Liquidmetal and Phenolic Resin(plastic) inerds. Just imagine how incredible that could be. And the twine made from Liquidmetal braided line.

Am I the only one around that ever played with the clackers toy? Those things were incredible when I was a kid. A half century in the books and I can almost feel how I felt when I played with them decades ago(not a half century tho, maybe only like 40ish years) when I was a kid. Still to this day. I can feel the like, testosterone gone wild feeling, clinching of the jaws, squinting of the eyes from the fear of the violent clacks, my mind focused solely on the rythym of the wrist movement required to go faster, stronger, harder, than anyone else can. With clackers. Just being a total bad ass at like 10....... Like the bionic man show which was a "huge"(10kw) hit back in the day during that period before clackers were banned as a toy for being dangerous. Just a few of the emotions I can almost feel to this day as I reflect on the toy that never harmed me.

Anyway, I think Li could make it happen. He has so many resources. Chess sets? Fugget about it. Boring. Lame. Clackers is where it's at. Unless it's just too bad ass and could harm someone. Might be kinda niche that only professionals would be allowed license to own them. If in trials try are found to be dangerous to the general public like me. Bolos?

Anyone else care to chime in on what might be the most dynamic Liquidmetal made products? I am going with the Liquidmetal golf clubs. And clackers tho the golf clubs being banned from the PGA(again assuming that really happened and is not just my imagination). Cause I do tend to be imaginative. Heck I even believe unicorns exist. Through my experience following the evolution of Liquidmetal branded amorphous alloy that is. World peace tho. Now that idea is just beautiful too. What was the subject? Hmm.

As always just my opinions. Don't mean much but, heck. Reflect on all the Liquidmetal ideas that have been shared and regurgitated over and again, over the years and I thinks it's as plausible as any of them. Nevermind.

Let's keep it civil and understand that this is a forum of mostly amateur opinions. I am not here to give advice or argue. The best way to get rid of trolls is by using the ignore feature. And if you don't like what I say feel free to ignore me. Thanx.
