am starting to become very concerned about how long it is taking to get any resolution out of these issues

My theory is that the investigation perhaps yielded some sloppy handling of certain transactional matters between different entities, but nothing illegal. Otherwise, the Board would have had to report finding anything in violation of the law to (most likely) the SEC.

But if there are some things in the internal investigation that are embarrassing and they want to wait until there's other positive news to report to lessen the effect, this approach is just back-firing. By dragging this out, it's causing even more concern, and is very damaging to investors.
