I know there were a lot of skeptics to some of my posts over the past four or five years about patients I put on Vascepa...

But actually I was in a perfect position..I had closed down Boston Cosmetic Center and went to work for LSL, because running a office with operating rooms was just becoming impossible from a regulatory standpoint..

At LSL I was doing nothing but anti aging facial surgery..My patients ran from the forties up 94 years old...Over the four year course not only did I put patients on V, but my results in terms of faster recoveries convinced the other surgeon working with me to also use V..

During that time I saw a lot of things happen that were unreported. The first being my own problem with DES...After I started V, (not for DES), I woke up one day and suddenly realized my disabling DES was gone..I post that on another site before I came to Ihub...I don't think anyone believed me..

LSL was very aggressive and wanted to know why you turned patients down for procedures..They wanted you to operate on cigarette smokers..Cigarette smokers have compromised circulation, low O2 carrying capacity in the red cells and high inflammatory levels..A bad combo in face lifts...Putting these patients on V greatly lowered their complication rates, minimized skin loss and speeded recovery. (Too bad the American Society of Plastic Surgeons is unaware of that.

I saw remarkable improvement in inflammatory diseases including Scleroderma. As you note I also had a totally oxygen dependent COPD patient who was able to go without her O2 after taking V.

So If I seem enthusiastic and very optimistic about Vascepa and its future, its not because of what people have told me, or of what some has written...I have seen what it can do first hand...

And it is an amazing drug...
