WAVXQ stock could trade for another year or two, perhaps much longer. Each BK is unique. My points are that the end of trading can come suddenly and the stock probably won't descend slowly to .0001 before cancellation.
There could be price upticks along the way from good news, short covering or manipulation by traders. And there will be the normal zigs and zags that occur with any stock. The prospects of upticks may attract the usual pennyland gamblers. Some of them will make a few bucks, most will lose... as usual.
I'm not aware of any venture capital funds that specialize in BK small caps. There's rarely easy money to be made in deeply troubled stocks.
You'll hear about the extremely rare BK winners, but those are specialized cases. American Airlines got into trouble during the Great Recession when fuel costs soared just as business travel collapsed. Loans became unavailable around that time. That was a lethal combination of problems but easily fixable with debt relief, wage concessions and a business upturn as the recession moderated.
WAVX isn't American Airlines.
