Raf, "$1.60 predicts a lot different result than $5.00 pre announcement" is not the same as what you said I wrote, "FISH - You think that today's price somehow predicts or foreshadows what the DMC recommendation will be?"

I stand by my statement (as do most who are familiar with how the markets work).
Today the price is 2.33 which means nothing until either technical targets or damage occurs.

2 scenarios:

1) In approximately 1-2 mos, the price slides to 1.60 (a -34% decline). I ask you why you think that would happen? Just because? Or because someone knows something: dilution, discrepancy with the trial execution, hint of poor results a leak by DMC members, etc. In my opinion, if AMRN pps is 1.60 it won't portend good results.

2) If the price climbs +115% to 5.00 then it means that serious technical damage has occurred if you are short. The ominous October 2013 gap has filled, the symmetrical triangle target objective has been met and the bullish 'posture has confirmed. The market will have priced in a favorable outcome to to the interim announcement. Shorts will acknowledge they are screwed and that AMRN is on a launch pad to rocket higher.

In my opinion, these two scenarios are black and white, not the same as you contend.

You obviously have never analyzed stock charts prior to earnings announcements? The majority of the time they effectively signal the results - good or bad - if you know what you're looking for.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Please stop falsifying.
