I bet the lawyers are salivating over the prospects of patent battles in the EBM space... Unfortunately, it is only the Lawyers who win in such battles...
At the end of the day, unless you want to spend the enormous amount required to defend your patents they really aren't worth very much... others will find little ways to get around them... it is really who is first and best to market that counts... which is why once again time is not on Arcam's side, they are a very small player and if they want to be a big player they must grow the business very aggressively...being small for long is not an option... they should be selling at least 10 machines a month by now... that is only 120 per year... still not the biggest player but it would be respectable...
