Moderator/Censorship/Deleted Posts:
The concept is very simple. Post about stocks and you'll have no problems. Post about other junk, insult people, spam, etc and you'll find yourself suspended (jail) or terminated. This is not censorship. This is called keeping things focused on the subject of stocks. Talk pro or con about WAVX, I don't care, just keep it ontopic and about WAVX, not about individual posters.

What can the Moderator/Assistant do? They can instantly remove posts that they feel violate the iHub TOU, not their own personal rules and such. That's it. IT works VERY well and is where iHub got its start. Once a post is hidden by a Moderator, I have to review it before it is truly removed. If it didn't violate the TOU, I restore it. Very simple. So, in other words, the only person who is doing deleting is me. I am also the only one who can ban users. If a Mod does a poor job of this, I remove them. But 99% of them doing a great job.

If a post is removed and you disagree, the worst thing you can do is bark about it on this board. Wrong place. Take it to my inbox via the iHub private message system. Just click my profile and click SEnd Message. Chances are, if it was unfairly deleted (rare), I will restore it without any word from you.

I think that addresses most of the questions here so far. Yes, a bunch of posts just disappeared and one person was suspended. After this message, it should be clear why and I doubt I'll have to do it again.

Bottomline: This site is here to talk about stocks. If you want to trash people go back to RB. If you want to get offtopic, we offer a number of offtopic boards. Those of you that are serious about stocks, you'll enjoy this site.
