I'm not saying for a minute that TEUFF is down because of shorts alone. But for MMs and others who want to make money, shorting a stock sector stock in shipping has been a no brainer. No timing necessary.

Explain to me how my bid to buy yesterday did not show up.[creating weakness] MMs short these stocks all day long. I don't know if your familiar with a MMs job, but it's to buy as low as possible and sell as high as possible,[Vice versa] as to make the difference. You can't do that on a high volume stock everyone is buying. You have to settle on the tiny spreads.

But on a stock like this with low volume, going down, it is easy, and creates a lot of downward pressure. I myself, if I had a million dollar account, would have made a killing shorting the shipping sector. Some who do have. Now the closer we get to sub penny, the less individuals are shorting, but still happens on special occasions.
