My comment was not about crude oil, which is very cheap at the moment and available in great supply. My comment was on Ethanol.

Ethanol is a grain alcohol that can be made from fermenting corn,wheat or sugar cane, which are renewables. In fact approx 95% of ethanol produced in the US is from corn. Switchgrass has been put forth as an even better source as it can yield twice as much Ethanol per acre as corn.

So there goes the insinuation that Ethanol production is dependent on crude oil.

The molecular content of Crude oil has nothing to do with misrepresenting a need that may or may not exist. Nice try at redirecting from the actual subject.
