IMO, the Brexit results show that Trump is on the right track when it comes to having an appealing message for the American middle.

I'm hearing the heavy "Leave" vote in Northern England is what made the difference. Northern England is heavily influenced by unions. Some UK unions make the teamsters look like the PTA.

Trump's call to "Take Back Our Country" is the same sentiment that heavily motivated the "Leave" voters.

They are sick of seeing their Country's culture change with excessive immigration, just as millions of Trump supporters are.

I call it "Patriotic Populism". In the UK it has reached beyond the traditional stands of the Labour and Conservative Parties.
