The PART A data was without an optimized dosing regimen. I imagine this was due to the washout period and short duration. Anavex could very well have sought to determine the dose dependency with optimized dosing.

The minimum dose for efficacy was determined to be 14, apparently without dosing at 13 or 14. I wouldn't doubt that there is a method to determine dose dependency with optimized dosing. Especially, when the dosing data would have been known for the dose (probably the highest well tolerated dose) given during the 12 week period.
