TODAY IS MY WIFE'S BIRTHDAY. I've shared my story on this board and many of you have been very supportive. I am very appreciative of that. For those who don't know, I invested in this company many years ago in the belief that this technology could change the world of pain relief for the better. That's why I chose this as my investment over other companies.

Having a wife who is a 21-year, 3-time brain tumor survivor and facing yet another recurrence---I have experienced first-hand what it's like to be a caregiver of someone who has faced too much pain in her life as a result of not only the surgeries and radiation---but primarily because of strong pain relievers that have caused all sorts of issues that have actually been tougher to deal with than the surgeries--seriously.

I have been on the rollercoaster with BIEL all these years and have at times wondered if it would ever see the light of day. Well, today is proof that there is light at the end of this tunnel with today's positive news coming out of the meeting on May 24. Not an approval yet---but certainly is well on the path now IMHO. The fact that the FDA got back to BIEL two weeks later is ASTOUNDING.

How amazing to have this ray of hope on my wife's birthday. Such irony. Just wanted to share that with all of you. Thanks.
