If it's not stopped, that would not be a horrible thing, it will rule out futility.


IMO, there needs to be a sharp price spike in response to the interim news, (whether it is halt or continue) to prevent a subsequent selloff in anticipation of dilution.
It’s interesting to see how other stocks responded to announced offerings (dilution) before or after explosive news events.

A. If they diluted before announcement of results, the pps response was poor.
e.g. Merrimack Pharma:


B. If they diluted right after a price moving news event, the pps barely pulled back then continued to climb.
e.g. BioCryst Pharma:


Question is, would an announcement of continuation respond like example A or B above?
I’m hoping:
1. management can hold out until post interim to dilute
2. There will be enough leaks and or speculation of significant efficacy to force a bullish response to a possible “continuation” option.
3. Dilution will thus be viewed as bullish.
