Do you put any weight behind the thought that this Tuesday conference has anything to do with the rise in the PPS the last couple of days or is it more pointed to the latest pr giving exclusivity until 2020 TIA

Nobody knows for sure but in my opinion, the 22% price move last week was a result of a combination of things – ignited by the NCE announcement. Obviously the NCE makes the molecule officially legit, but more importantly (IMO), the PR displays a rare gesture of favor on behalf of the FDA towards Vascepa. Tuesday’s conference could also be contributing as many might think something will be revealed that could really pop the cork.
All of these fundamental positives, combined with the technical breakout are squeezing shorts. It is a perfect storm; speculators (retail and commercial) are gobbling up shares, leaving little supply for shorts to cover at a reasonable price. I love the result: sharply higher prices!
