I don't have any numbers, but, monitor my machines for overheating whenever I run my protein folding clients, which is almost nonstop. I'm able to run an additional client on my desktop since the win10 upgrade without overheating issues. The desktop has internal temp controls and I use CPUID HWMonitor on my laptop. It's important to not allow them to overheat. That's the difficult thing about protein folding. It's hard on the system.

any numbers on these claimed temp reductions and other benefits of Win10?.....just looking for data, and making sure it is not a placebo effect....
Takes a lot of resources and everyone in my folding group that has moved over to win10 agrees that their computers are running more efficiently and cooler now.
