I would love it if someone had an exact transcript of Linda Liau's you tube video that was later taken down because I strongly believe it will lead us to an answer.
From ny memory of reading, watching and listening she was not at all depressed or sad. She should be if the trial had failed as some here opine. She did seem to be even joking/giggling that it might be doing too well, too well to judge who is getting sick because everyone in the trial was living longer thus it was harder to differentiate and that she said was a good thing but at the same time a pain in the neck for the the necessary differentiating.
So let me tell you any surgeon conducting a failed trial would be devastated, MS Linda Liau was not in the least devastated, he was more or less joking around and feeling pretty darn confident and powerful imho.
