LP was doing her duty to shareholders to analyze the impacts of these demands and reject them, while substituting other much more qualified members and initiate an investigation.

I was totally on board with LP's decision to reject Woodford's candidate for all the reasons listed in the press release. But at that point it was very clear that Woodford was being viewed as a potential adversary that needs to be managed, rather than as a strategic partner as some here appear to be suggesting.

Woodford may know some very specific information, such as the reason for the halt and perhaps some of the preliminary findings from the investigative report. But I seriously doubt he's being consulted with in real time.
