The more scientific info I read, the more my expectations for these compounds are tempered, AAMOF. Long term efficacy and a benign safety profile are crucial and almost impossible to come by.

The agonism of S1R and associated audio-visual enhancements and psychoactive effects is well known. There are thousands of S1R agonists, including all the well known psychotropic street drugs. The enjoyment of the arts, music, making love, etc is a common product of S1R agonists, as well as eventual psychosis from over-stimulation. In reality, the Aussie pump should be regarded as demonstration of unwanted side effects, rather than evidence of a miracle, IMO.
