Clearly, he's not keen on hedging.. But remember.....this is the Intel board......real men never hedge Intel shares. Of course for any Intel share holder, converting a very small percentage of Intel holdings to AMD when AMD was below $2 would have been a PERFECT hedge against any AMD incursion into the Intel server space. ...my God....a then over 15:1 conversion ratio.

Yeah, sure, and let's not forget ARM. Let's hedge with ARM also, and Qualcomm, for sure. Ah, NVIDIA also wants more of the server pie, so let's buy some NVIDIA also. IBM, for sure Open Power is a risk, let's hedge with IBM also. Ah, to the hell with it, let's just bring down the risk by simply buying the Nasdaq - oh, wait, MSCI World is even lower risk.

Wel, I guess you get my point. Buying single shares is about taking risk and expecting higher than average returns. You can be skeptical about Intel, but "hedging" with some other company is not helping in my opinion. If you believe AMD has a good risk/reward relation, buy AMD. If you think the same about Intel, buy Intel.
