I have dabbled with idea of buying cheap OTM calls on uvxy when vix is extremely low (12 range) December and first 2 months this year saw a big decline and spot vix touched 50 while futures were in backwardation for extended periods.. SVXY went from $97 to sub $30 So while I think its possible for svxy to RS under extreme conditions those conditions would also likely spell great hardships for any investment. So far this year my selling puts on svxy at high vix has yeilded best results. june puts for first qtr were money and i should have held longer but I believe i profited at a rate of %50 or greater. I sold svxy covereds too early. but this year will be my biggest sheer profit year IMO. I believe svxy will get to 80s at least. I will sell all shares much lower hahaha
