dfmantx,
"Bottom line, the AMEX has not been good to us. They forced us to do a reverse split, which put us at around $3.50, we are now at around .50, and IT IS LARGELY BECAUSE OF THE AMEX THAT WE ARE THIS LOW, PERIOD."

Bottom line, that's pure and utter crap. Forced to do a reverse split? You cant force any company to JOIN the AMEX, GTE felt it was a good thing join the AMEX, and to do all the things required to join AMEX of their own free will. They were not FORCED. AMEX is also not the reason why we are so low, how about our non ability to meet timelines as a company, how about the fact GTE pumps deals that don't go threw ? We as traders buy and sell GTE, we make the price go up and down via what we feel the worth of the company is. AMEX didn't make us go down to .55 cents… we as traders did. When you buy stock in a company, your buying into an IDEA. You buy in because of company fundamentals. Right now, people who invest in GTE are mortified at what they have read about GTE, and its deals, and its timelines. You cant blame anyone but GTE for the mess they are in. or I guess, the mess we are all in. I'm still holding my shares, said this along time ago.. its go big or go home… aka all or nothing. I don't blame AMEX for our current PPS, but I do blame GTE. The people selling what they hold? Selling because of GTE and their lack of action… All im hearing is talk, now where is the walk?… now that my friend.. is the bottom line.
