When is a licensing deal not a licensing deal? Answer: when it contained stipulations that had a realistic chance of winding up with a zero royalty rate. If the public had known about this, they might not have bid the price of the stock up in 1999. Perhaps jai and dws didn't feel mislead, but I know many others did.
