Doc that's not how NDAs work. That's what's so funny to me about that hypothesis. It's still insider trading if you are told confidential info before a placement of money. So you then have to assume he was only told after, but then also assume what? That what he was told was positive, and use the NDA as an explanation for why he can't buy now? What about selling? He hasn't sold any. What if the NDA hype is true but the info is negative and still he cannot sell. What about that?

The NDA hyp is pretty silly imo and wouldn't tip you off to anything anyway.
