DD for China firms is complicated by the business culture which is very focused on competitive intellegence/counter intelligence. So while a US company may want to talk about their powerful partners a China company will often be more circumspect until they have a dominant position. It's why the franchise model for China isn't about starting one store and growing it's about opening a thousand stores at once. The difference in language characters makes searching the internet problematic. If you can search in the Chinese characters there is really quite a bit of official information out there.
