The probability of finding something in "any" company audit of "any" company under scrutiny is high as it is the nature of accounting to figure all angles to benefit the company. The wandering into grey areas is common place in todays world given the many loop holes in the laws and regulations. The Madoff situation was a Ponzi scheme where monies were shifted from account to account without there being an actual business and in all likelihood it would still be an on going concern if not for the market crash. The SEC action will iron out all the details as the defense presents its case. The SEC has made allegations yes allegations of wrong doing and in this country we are "innocent till proven guilty with the pertinent word or key word being "proven" no ifs ands or buts about it. Determination is set for Sept. All in all it has provided the shareholders a positive mix of events as is seen in the slow comeback of the pps since the announcement of the "allegations" . In my opinion its a welcome event where the players are at the point of exposing their cards for all to see. In my opinion it's all positive but that's just my opinion. Have a great day.
