2. No one else being large enough to pay that amount of money is completely false, and this is the point I scoff at really, a simple google search would prove my point correct.
3. ZTE in its own emails during the trial said there were multiple Chinese infringers
4. VRNG has stated publicly it was discussing settlements with 'numerous' parties in regards to the SEP patents.
5. ZTE comprises only 5% of the Infrastructure market. While Nokia certainly has a portion of that market already signed up prior there are clearly others still infringing - See 3 and 4.
6. Here is a list that took me about 3 minutes to find
A. Ericcson - Gee I think they are pretty big! LOL
B. Mitsubushi - Hmm...pretty big me thinks!
C. Samsung - Not too small either! LOL
D. Here's one I bet you've never even heard of, and I am sure there are many many more just like it - Comba
E. Phillips
On and on. All the names above make 100's of millions in revenues from the MANUFACTURING of 3g and 4g networking equipment
Now my point is simple. Could it be Huawei sure, but I just provided a list of names that show there are many many others it could be as well (which took all of 3 minutes to find - I am sure a more involved search would find many more), who certainly make a great deal of money from products that likely infringe. Making an assumption that 'management failed because this is money from Huwaei', and defending it by saying there are no other possible infringers who could pay that amount is categorically false.
7. Management has never stated they were talking to Huawei, indeed the source of that is message boards lol...sorry that's not very reliable. Indeed, looking back at your post history you were one of the people suggesting as such. When you can show us where management has ever stated publicly or via legal documents (pacers) that Huawaei has even been approached, well then there could be more validity to your opinion - at least a rational chance.
Finally, a rational person should actually look at the size of Huawei relative to ZTE and should conclude, given there are many other players of size, that in all probability the $8.9 million DID NOT come from Huawei...but that would take rational, fact based, objective thought!
Good luck to ALL VRNG LONGS
