A Small Review on SFOR.

Hello ladies and gents. So I've purchased SFOR's MobileTrust® Keystroke Encryption for Mobile Devices and installed it on my smartphone (running Android 5.0 Lollipop).

PROS (on the company / MobileTrust® product):

-SFOR has just reached and won settlement against Microsoft on patent infringement.
-Software products are available for purchase on Amazon.com and Target.com.
-Dilution has stopped.
-The company is debt free.
-SFOR has cash on hand (i.e. they are cash flow positive).
-Their product, "GuardID" was sold for $9 million which they will have till 2020.
-The app has not ceased to work on rebooting the phone, taking out the battery or installing a new app.
-The app has not crashed once (i.e. I use my smartphone heavily).

CONS (company / MobileTrust® product):
-No comma button on the main keyboard.
-The enter button is not intuitively clear.
-Not any easier to setup vs. other keyboard apps.
-The company has 2.12 billion shares and has a history of reverse splits.
-Will most likely be acquired by a larger company which is usually* a good thing for share holders (please... not Facebook).

So first things first. After I purchased the product, made an account and downloaded the app. This is what I had to do to get it all working (for those curious); I had to go under settings:

Choose Language & input:

Choose Current Keyobard:

Hit Choose keyboards:

Disable Android Keyboard (AOSP), TouchPal2016, and enable MobileTrust:

Like so:

Go back to settings, language inputs and current keyboard to pick the MobileTrust keyboard (which is what we want):

And this is what app looks like:

What I found different about it over my TouchPal keyboard (and the original keyboard on my smartphone) - and I won't lie. The feel is different when typing vs. my custom keyboard app (TouchPal2016) and so it did take some getting used to (about two days). Here is the TouchPal2016 keyboard found off the Google play store:

And perhaps more importantly here is the Android keyboard on my phone:

Final Thoughts:

Without a doubt, the TouchPal app is far smoother. The MobileTrust however does come in about equal to my Android smartphones original keyboard (which is what I was hoping for). So it actually isn't all that bad. Where I am personally concerned as a potential investor (if you haven't caught it already) is that both the custom keyboard app and my original keyboard app have a comma button. I've found it a massive pain to have to constantly hit the, "1 2 3" key in order to get to the comma button on the MobileTrust app. That is a serious flaw in my eyes that must be fixed.

Lastly, a smaller nuance is that on the TouchPal app? The enter button is a, "DONE" and on the original keyboard it's green check mark. On the MobileTrust the enter button is the space down button you see on the bottom far right. Not the most clearly intuitive but obviously, it functions.

Overall, I give the app a 4 out of 5 stars for the reasons stated above and I do see myself using it (in permanent replacement of the other keyboards).
