And that is why people who fail to read SEC filings and/or ignore the facts contained within lose money on penny stocks.

Just look at COWI. Since they sold their first toxic death spiral convertible, the stock has lost 99.9% of its value through massive dilution and 2 reverse splits. Anyone that read the SEC flings for even 20 seconds and saw they had toxic death spirals issued and paid attention to that fact would have never have bought the stock and not lost all their money.
