I've spoken to Les at least 5 times since the beginning of the year and each time he's been very frank about the issues facing getting a large trial going. Direct will target at least 13 Cancer types, that's what I was told. This will be international, just like L, and it takes an unbelievable amount of time and energy to get all the IRB's done, the contracts issued and agreed upon, and all the logistics figured out. I believe the size of the trial was increased over what was originally planned because of the great results both from PI and from all the surrogate studies that have shown other markers of immune response.

NWBO has always taken the road less traveled and are therefor open to more risk and more criticism than if they'd have tried to partner with bigger fish. It's precisely what I like about them.
