Marilynt.. No. I do not recommend putting Solid State Drive on 6 year
old computer as a cure for the problems you are having. Can you tell us
about your machine: name, model, RAM (random access memory) capacity,
disk-drive (called "hard drive") capacity, CPU (Computer Processing Unit) speed
and anything else that You consider relevant.

P.S. In my opinion Apple is not the solution for a Windows 10 fix,
but a good windows computer with: test/tune-up apps and a "good"
chat group like this one is. Just ask IH Admin [Dan].
