Remember that Walgreens gott fooled by Spongetech too - and stocked those soap-infused sponges in Walgreens stores.

Perhaps it is time to re-evaluate Walgreens as an investment. They seem to be willing to do business with just about anybuddy - and poor DD and follow-up on the relationships.

If people died as a result of false diagnostic results from Thanatos, and if Walgreens was the intermediary - then expect Walgreens to show up on those annoying class-action plaintiff-side lawfirm commercials on TV for everything from asbestos to Actos to bladder mesh screens to just about anything.

If Walgreens failed to do adequate diligence on those tests, then expect some negligence claims for deaths and injuries (of all sorts) against Walgreens. Even plaintiffs who will claim that a later-developed health condition resulted from a delayed diagnosis from a botched or falsified clinical test done by Thanatos via Walgreens.

And also claims for people redoing tests now because they cannot trust the results provided by Thanatos testing, as it is suspect. I'd expect some claims for the costs of retesting and perhaps other damage claims for lost time from work for the retest, etc.

This is why it is essential to perform deep and ongoing diligence with any company in 'partnership' with another company in the health care sector. The liability from lawsuits can be immense because it deals with peoples' lives and health. Juries love to return huge verdicts for large damages often with punitives on those type of claims.
