Warrants are usually granted in combination with a private offering. In this case sune could sell a bunch at say a 30% discount to the lowest bid over a 3 day period. They would then include warrants to buy additional shares at $1, which could be executed if shares climbed back there. They would not get that $1 per share unless share price was above it. Only cash to come in would be money from those discounted shares.
