The National Milk Producers Federation, Land O'Lakes, and other national livestock interests recently joined Bion in support of a new clean water strategy that would save taxpayers billions of dollars while enabling the industry to access public money to offset technology adoption costs to reduce their impacts on water quality. Bion's waste treatment process also provides substantial greenhouse gas reductions and generates renewable energy from the CAFO waste stream, which renewable energy can be utilized onsite in integrated operations, exported to the electric grid or injected into a CNG pipeline.
