Generic Lovaza is essentially fish oil. It sold over 200K bottles in this period, I imagine that many hundreds of thousands of OTC fish oil were also sold during the same period. Generic Lovaza is essentially fish oil. Vascepa is clearly superior to Lovaza and fish oil, with better efficacy and less side effects. After R-IT gets unblinded and word gets around, Vascepa should, in the future, be the go to product for this gigantic and expanding market.
