chinatown... if you are steeped more deeply in the history of this company, you'd understand why this company is as quiet as it is right now.

investors are left completely in the dark regarding nearly all important milestones and issues pertaining to the current trials. Clues must be dredged from internet videos, facebook, and other unverified sources and then many hypothetical scenarios are tossed around with little factual basis.

The company, in past years, was a lot more open about presenting data, holding conference calls, and putting out PRs for practically everything, including responding to dear Adam who's apparently now writing a book about NWBO.

And I remember many longs complaining constantly about how they PR'd everything, shouldn't respond to Adam, and how Linda shouldn't speak at the conferences, only the medical investigators should. Then, Dr. Bosch made those presentations at both ASCO and AACR last year, and still, those who were not invested complained. They said the data was faulty, not impressive, etc. Those who were invested, of course, loved the data.

And because there is such a short position in the stock... when compared to the float... I believe the company has decided it's just better to wait and announce all their information... all at once. I think they think, that'll help blow up the shorts once and for all. And maybe those who are not invested will finally disappear.

But if you are looking for an indication that the company has held any recent quarterly conference calls, you will not find them. And yes, NWBO is a very unusual publicly traded company.

That's why Adam is writing a book about them.

But I will point out, it doesn't work very well for the narrative of his book that Merck and BMS should want to collaborate, partner, or provide their product for free with NWBO and UCLA, so he is working very hard to deny that is actually in the works. Maybe he thinks if he states it enough, it'll change the facts.

In a sense, he's clicking his ruby red shoes and chanting, "There is no partnership, there is no partnership" and hoping that'll work to stop it; though, it may end up like this instead.
