SPDR S&P 500 (SPY)

VXX definitely drew a line in the sand
and only begrudging got dragged a couple pennies over it at the very end.

SPY was oscillating in a tight range
but VXX was nearly dead still for nearly the entire last 30 min.

suggests SPY may6 options traders didn't think SPY would/should go any higher
and held that conviction firmly.

given that SPY pushed upward a couple dimes
before VXX finally conceded a few pennies,
suggests SPY traders were watching VXX (as we were)
which is effectively watching themselves
in a feedback loop...
