Roo, do you really want to assert that SPY hasn't been tracking oil the past few months?
because i suspect pretty everyone here will call you on that.

does it make sense?
imo, no. as risk_on and i have both posted many times,
it makes more sense for cheap oil to be a boon to businesses outside the oil sector.

does the correlation always happen?
of course not.
in fact, it has only been predominant the last few months while oil has been cheap.

but the correlation has been clear until very recently
as pretty much everyone on this board will attest.

if you want to contend that point
