Looks like the new app is out of Apple IOS. Was searching in the app store and found it and downloaded it. It is very slick, especially in regards to limited version that came out last year. Much more aesthetically pleasing. It can be used for streaming music with spotify or apple music, or with individual songs downloaded to your iphone. In addition it has the ability to turn the technology on or off while listening to a song and also a setting that will not allow the volume over 85 decibels.
I am assuming we should see a press release soon. It appears to be free for a period of time (don't know how long). I am assuming it will have a trial period and then either a subscription fee or one time fee for continued full access to the app.
When the MAXD setting is on, the difference in sound quality is fantastic. It goes from a tinny, unbalanced, typical compressed sound to a much more balanced, open, warm sound. Very impressed so far.
