The discussion of 3D printing jogged my memory a bit ... first that Steipp actually (at least) once addressed this in a CC.

From 2012, Q4 call:

Towards that end, in the fourth quarter, we began to complete prototypes produced on 6-axis milling machines as well as Direct Metal Laser-Sintering, DMLS or 3D printing machines to one of our strategic customers in the aerospace and defense market.
