My take on the show this week.........

..

i always love when they get to visit their home town.. as they did in this show..

there are 3 rounds..

the top 4 are Trent, Mackenzie, Laporsha and Dalton...

round 1 (ding ding ding).......

mackenzie- looked like he was falling asleep and sings the same every time. and i once thought he could win this... sigh

dalton- hated it

trent- hated it

(the judges, in general, have lost their minds, with schmoozing each one of them)

laporsha- idol put and extra umph into her "hometown" story so i think they are pushing for her to win....

so, she sings, and although i dont like her usual angry style, she beat the boys, sad to say.

then... mackenzie gets kicked off..

round 2--------

dalton- finally, he rocked out some but the band is weak and cheesy. i miss the better bands that idol had, in the past.

laporsha- boring- lots of yelling and riffs- but her baby is cute with the little ear muffs on. i liked that laporsha was honest in that she didnt like the theme of the song. so, she made me giggle, as she is honest at least.

trent- music was odd, hard to tell what note he was singing in at first, but he had high energy but still hate his voice.

then keith, the judge, sings. i hate that they push their own agenda here. he was average and it was way too fast.

round 3---------

dalton- again, the band sucked... and dalton didnt do well here.

laporsha- it was good, better than the guys, i think she will win, ugh, but for now, she is the best of the 4, sad to say.

trent- last song of the night... very very girly BUT for HIM it was very good vocally.

so, going into next week, the top 3 are dalton, trent, laporsha.

this is it guys... we have one week left.

they said it will air tue, wed and thurs (finale night)

we need to be there. this is the end of an era.
