The water heater was definitely a scam. It may have not started as one, maybe they really did believe they could have had something at some point but I think they realized pretty early on it wasn't going to turn into anything real but they kept stringing people along for years. And then they jumped from water heaters to weed?? Come on... If they would have went to maybe using the technology on a dish washer or toaster or whatever then maybe OK but at this point it's pretty obvious it's just a shell used by some guys (guys who look pretty damn dirty) to make a quick buck...
Sure, just like any penny it can be used to time some spikes here and there but I'd rather invest in something that has an actual chance of being real and taking off. It's hard to prove 100% something is a scam but this particular one stinks waaay too bad to be worth wasting time with. Not saying there isn't a chance it turns into something profitable but that chance is so close to 0 that it's basically 0...
Anyway, whatever, not gonna get into this ihub debate craziness again, just saying that I've been in this a whole bunch of years and went from a very strong believer, putting really big money into it and arguing for it, to being 100% convinced there is absolutely nothing real there.
