in a word, deplorable. i've traded pennies since 2001, ALWAYS successfully, and the market was ALWAYS good, until after the MJ craze of early 2014. been bad since. people tend to blame rampant dilution the most, which has been taking place through a new trend of equity investors giving companies cash in exchnage for convertible notes which allow the investor to sell common shares into the market at a considerable discount to market price, giving the seller no incentive at all to sell at a higher pps. it seems the vast majority of OTC stocks have got involved in this, sending them into death spirals.

you can avoid these toxically funded companies, but it doesn't leave you much...

basically though there is just no volume, that's the problem. maybe a result of the toxic financing... just nothing worth buying. very very very slow. good luck, you'll need it.

that said, the market has comeback moments but they're short lived.
