Excel question from a friend...

I am hoping someone can give me a hand.... I have a spreadsheet with about 700 students on it. Some have taken the XYZ Class, some have taken ABC Class, or one of my other three courses. I downloaded the list from Paypal. I want to somehow "Merge" those who have done multiple classes with me into one row each.

For instance, John Doe has taken three classes with me, so he appears on three different rows, as he paid three different class deposits. How can I "consolidate" these so I have 700 rows, one for each student, instead of 1000 rows, with some students appearing twice or three times?
