Unfortunately yes....

Remember that Senate bill passed recently that would have added 380 miles (out of a 2000 mile border) of fence along with Mexican border as a compromise? Well last Firday evening there was a Senate appropriations vote and guess what did not get funded! Did the news organizations pick that up?

Yes...corporate power is there...they finance campaigns and fund the Democratic as well as the Republican party. You mess with one of the "big guys" the regulators will be after you. Fact of life in this country....politicians are corrupt and bought off!
