Companies do publish early....look at the current trade halts on MOT for instance....perhaps reporting early, and some companies actually have already started.

Interesting to note though...if earnings are being prepared and reviewed (and it seemed at the SHM that mgt had a good grasp of the numbers even then by the way), I believe (someone please correct me if I am wrong here but) options expire Friday...now isn't that interesting????
