Yes. It was possible because fear is very easy to instill.
2m is nothing in the average volume but in premarket there is far less liquidity so the pps moves more.

Shorts use that to scare people into selling at the open and they can cover without the volatility.

Thats what causes the climbfollowing the open.

When those scared realize the pps isnt crashing they buy back in at a higher pps
