No, just don't constantly assume every negative. I think it's pretty hard to do what you say you are doing without becoming obsessively negative. How you keep a fully balanced attitude? And why do you want to take on the burden of debunking every over-optimistic comment? How do you decide which are reasonable and which are not? Just seems like abnormal obsessive behavior from the start, even if as you claim you're just trying to be helpful or whatever. There is a middle ground between over-optimism and over-pessimism. Are you claiming that's where you stand?
